PRODUCTION

With "I Colori della Terra" the wood becomes alive and organic material that actively interacts with the clay. These two natural elements combining chemically, are leading to a spontaneous and beautiful aesthetic result, unique and unpredictable each time.

Clay is manually spread over the parquet plank and is left until total natural drying out.
Then the surface is processed with sand paper to remove a solidified layer. Then comes brushing, after which the final oil and wax covering is spread.
Clay performs a role of natural mordent and interacts with tannins modifying wooden planks colour in always unexpected and fascinating manner.
